Our approach: voluntary commitments and certifications
To deliver consistent quality to our customers, we work to uniform standards. With our numerous certifications, we meet the diverse requirements of various industries. We are also members of various trade associations to better understand our customers’ needs.
DIN EN ISO 9001
The process-oriented quality management system supports all key operational processes and puts them to the test. This enables processes to be optimised and improved. As a customer, you benefit from this – with high-quality products of the very highest standard.
Explosion protection (ATEX)
In areas at risk of explosion, all equipment must be subject to strict monitoring. This is based on Directive 2014/34/EU. Our MEX vapour recovery pumps, which are installed in petrol pumps, hold this certification as well as an EC type-examination certificate and recognition of quality assurance in production.
Railway – ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) and DIN EN 15085-2/CL1 (welding)
IRIS certification (International Railway Industry Standard). Scope: Auxiliary systems. Development, manufacture, distribution and customer service for compressors, vacuum pumps, system solutions and end-user products in the rail vehicle industry. This certificate is a mark of quality for suppliers to the railway industry.
EAC Russian Federation (formerly GOST) – Russian quality certification system for imports
EAC is the Russian quality certification system. It certifies that our equipment complies with the standards applicable in Russia and the CIS states.
Class I medical device approval
The SICOLAB mini ENDO from Dürr Technik has the necessary certification as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745. The product is therefore the first compressor station with a stainless steel compressed air gun on the market to be authorised as a Class I medical device for the drying of endoscopes and centralised instrument cleaning (MIC) instruments in accordance with the European Medical Devices Regulation (MDR) 2017/745. With the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR) on 26 May 2020, Directives 90/385/EEC and 93/42/EEC are superseded. Products certified under Directive 93/42/EEC are subject to transitional provisions. For example, The SICOLAB mini ENDO compressor, as a legacy device, will continue to be authorised as a medical device under current legislation until the end of its authorisation period.
Additional certifications
Additional certifications can be provided in accordance with the customer’s requirements. For example: UL, 2016/426, Regulation on appliances for the combustion of gaseous fuels.
