A wide range of compressor variants is available for configuring your bespoke air supply system: from DC to three-phase solutions, from 24V DC to 400V 3-phase AC. To provide you with a bespoke compressed air supply, we configure all the necessary components to meet your specific requirements, e.g. air intake system, dryer, cooler, inverter, frame to railway standards, enclosure, etc.- Operating range from -50°C to +70°C (depending on the model)
- The units can be installed in any orientation

Example of a bespoke main air system for rail vehicles
In collaboration with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rail vehicles, Dürr Technik has developed a bespoke compressed air supply system that has been optimised for roof mounting.
In combination with cooling units, drying systems and electrical and pneumatic control elements, a compressed air station can be designed precisely to the customer’s specifications and installed flexibly depending on the vehicle. The use of two compressors allows the air flow rate to be optimally adjusted and wear and tear to be reduced: if only a small amount of air is required, only one of the two compressors is started. Despite its enormous power, this robust compressed air system operates very quietly and is also resistant to strong vibrations, which significantly reduces noise pollution.
